Air and Military Museum of the Ozarks
The Air and Military Museum of the Ozarks works to
restore, preserve, and display military history and memorabilia for the purpose
of expanding the knowledge of those who visit its museum. The museum is
dedicated to all of the brave men and women who fought and died in the Armed
Forces to preserve America's freedoms. Established in 1989, the museum
consisted of only one showcase. Growth has been steady and we've acquired over
5,000 pieces of military history. The Air and Military Museum of the Ozarks
currently works on many projects include attending aircraft shows, restoration
of vintage military equipment and Museum School – a program of true history and
science for young students. Last year over 1500 students took part in this
program. We are pleased to announce the Air and Military Museum’s involvement
and invite you to experience some of the interactive activities the museum has
to offer!
